Elizabeth Ann Celtic Knitwear is inspired
by Celtic art. Many designs come from the illuminated pages found
in the Book of Lindisfarne, created by the monks on the near-by Holy
Island off the coast of Northumberland, to celebrate the
life of Saint Cuthbert. The intricate patterns seen in these examples,
have been drawn using the same methods as those thought to have been
used by the monks many centuries ago. The garments are individually
made to the customers specifications for size and colour. |
